Love Comes Quickly was the third song released as a single from the Boy's debut album Please. Released in 1986, the song failed to repeat the success of West End Girls which had been a No. 1 hit single in the U.K. and U.S. charts. Instead, Love Comes Quickly peaked at No. 19 on the U.K. singles chart and at No. 62 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. In the U.S. Billboard Dance / Club Play Songs chart, the song peaked at No. 10.
